Brenna May, Senior Associate Director of Admissions
International students - please read!
For international students (applicants who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents), interviews will be offered by invitation only each application round. If there is further information we need from you or questions we would like to ask, you may receive an invitation to interview after you submit your completed application. To learn more about Bennington before you apply, please sign up for one of the internationally focused events on our calendar. You should not sign up for an interview on this page.
In Bennington's domestic application process, Brenna works with first year students from high schools in OK, and TX.
The Bennington Interview is open to rising seniors and transfer applicants. It is an optional part of the application and a chance for us to get to know you beyond what exists on paper. It’s not just another hoop to jump through, but rather an opportunity for us to have a real conversation about you, your interests, and your ambitions for your college experience.
If you aren't ready for an interview, we strongly encourage a virtual information session and/or a student-led virtual tour. These are small group conversations open to students and family members at any point in the college search process. We also have Virtual Open Houses throughout the year. Check out what's available here! Will you be in Vermont to visit us in person? We would love to see you, and you can find the campus visit calendar here. We are so pleased to offer information sessions, tours, and interviews on our beautiful campus.
If none of the available interview dates will work, you are welcome to contact Brenna directly to request another interview date and time. Please see below for the recommended interview deadlines for all of Bennington's application rounds:
Early Decision 1: interview by November 20
Early Action: interview by December 16
Early Decision 2: interview by January 31
Regular Decision: interview by January 31
All times listed are in Eastern Time (ET) unless otherwise noted; adjust for your time zone accordingly. |
