    Program Schedule

All sessions will be hosted virtually — this is not an on-campus event. You will need a computer or phone with internet access to join. Some sessions will be recorded to be shared after the event in case you have trouble connecting.

12-1 pm | This Is Bennington: An introduction to Bennington’s unique pedagogy, the student experience, and the application process.

1-2 pm | Concurrent Sessions for Parents and Students:

    • Paying for College: an introduction to the financial aid process for parents.
    • Conversations with Faculty Members: Small-group conversations between students and a faculty member modeling the advising process at Bennington.

2-3 pm | Virtual Campus Tours: Explore campus and learn about the Bennington student experience in conversation with current students.

3-4 pm | Open Mic: Join traditional music faculty member and accomplished musician John Kirk for an hour of collaborative performance. Watch, share something by yourself, or join a group workshop. This session will only be open to students, and will be set up to allow audio and video participation.

This program will give you an introduction to Bennington's unique approach to the Liberal Arts and higher education. You will hear directly from faculty and students, and experience how Bennington's Plan Process, Field Work Term (FWT), and close student-faculty advising relationships support students in building connections between their curiosities and passions, while also deepening their expertise in these areas.

The full program for students runs from 12-4pm EDT and from 12-3pm EDT for parents or other guests.  You are welcome to join for all sessions or just the ones that interest you most. Connection instructions for each segment of the program will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Admissions at (+1) 800-833-6845 or

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
